Cara M. Gaziano is a partner at Kalcheim Haber, LLC and has been affiliated with the firm since 1997.  She has extensive experience representing clients in commercial and civil litigation, family law proceedings, real estate and business transactions.  Cara prides herself on being responsive to the individual needs of each client and providing practical and creative solutions. She is experienced with all aspects of litigation, including preparing and arguing dispositive motions, negotiating settlements, taking and defending depositions and drafting appellate briefs.

Cara received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and a J.D. cum laudefrom the George Washington University School of Law.  Prior to joining Kalcheim Haber in 1997, she was an Assistant Public Defender at the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York.  As an Assistant Public Defender, Cara represented clients from arraignment through trial on misdemeanor and felony charges.  Her experience included first chairing felony and misdemeanor jury trials, representing clients at hearings and arraignments, drafting and arguing motions on complex evidentiary issues, and preparing clients for Grand Jury proceedings.
